On a Monday night the Seniors participate in the Challenge Plus programme, which incorporates a variety of individual challenges and longer projects aimed at preparing them for the world outside school and BB.
The challenge plus programme includes anything from making a film to eating sweetcorn with a toothpick. The programme is geared towards getting the seniors their queens badge after 2 years. This equips them with the skills and qualities to be able to adapt to the world outside of school. The highlight of the Seniors’ year is the annual residential trip which takes place in February. The lads select the venue and agree on what they want to see and do whilst there. So far we have visited Paris, Edinburgh, Dublin, Bruges and Berlin. The senior section is a fun way to gain experience of a wide range of activities and events that will develop them as a person.
The Seniors meet on Monday evenings from 1930 to 2200. The Officer in Charge of Seniors is Helen Ashby OBE with support from Delia Ellis and Tim Elsy.
